INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGER
The Findlay-Hancock County Public Library is seeking an experienced, innovative individual to serve as the library’s Information Technology (IT) Manager. The Information Technology Manager is responsible for maintenance and support of the entire IT infrastructure for the library system; supports the software and hardware necessary to operate the facility’s computers; installs and repairs hardware of workstations, servers, and network equipment; keeps up with industry trends; ensures reliable and efficient service to users of the system; interacts directly with the public answering technology questions; and other IT responsibilities and duties as assigned. The Information Technology Manager is a 40-hour position and may be required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a related field is preferred. An Associate’s degree is required and a minimum of two year’s experience in network and server administration is required. The ability to work within a strong customer service culture is required. Beginning salary range is $47,000-$53,000 dependent upon qualifications and experience. Part-time Children’s Services Assistant position at the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library. Greeting and assisting with information and reader’s advisory, etc. at the Children’s Services desk Position is a 24 hour per week position that includes day, evening and weekend shifts. $9.17 per hour. Requires a high school diploma along with one year of library or customer service experience. Applicant must have a genuine desire to work with children.
