The Findlay-Hancock County Public Library is seeking a dynamic and creative Children's Services Librarian.  Under direction, the Children’s Services Librarian will support the Library’s strategic initiatives to provide early literacy experiences, develop school-age readers and life-long learners, provide children's reference and readers' advisory services and connect with parents and caregivers.  The Librarian will develop and conduct creative children's programs and work to promote library services and overall library objectives. 

Qualifications: Master of Library Science degree from an ALA-accredited school is required.  At least one year of experience working with children in a structured environment and the ability to work within a strong customer service culture is preferred. The position requires flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.  The salary range is $31,761 to $47,652 dependent upon qualifications and experience.  Benefits include medical insurance and entry to the OPERS retirement system.
