Did You Know? That the Library has been Serving the Community Since 1890?

Did You Know that the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library will be celebrating 125 years of service to the community on Tuesday, January 27, 2015? 
Stop by FHCPL on January 27 for a big anniversary celebration.  There will be give-aways, prizes, cake, a memory wall to write treasured memories of your library, an interactive "photo-booth", two special-story times at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. featuring a professional face painter and a craft.  The used book shop, The Book Cellar, will be offering a half-price sale from 10:00-5:00.  There will be historic photos of the library throughout the building.  We hope to see you at the celebration!   

Story Time Returns - Begins February 3rd. Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Join us for stories, songs and a craft. For all ages and a caregiver. Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Children's Program Room. Begins February 3 and ends April 16.

Every Child Ready for School. January 28. 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Early literacy tips and techniques for parents and caregivers. Includes a one per family copy of You, Me and the ABCs: 100 Ready-for-Reading Activities for Kids and Their Favorite Grown-up by Michael Rosen. There will also be opportunity to sign your child up for 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten.
