Join us to learn more about African cultures and traditions.
In partnership with the Borderless Relations Committee, Kids Club seeks to create a community of belonging by empowering kids through reading, discussion, and celebrating differences in cultures. During each session, we will read and explore a different story that encourages kids to share their feelings and experiences, develop empathy towards others, and learn to overcome differences. Learning will continue with activities that celebrate different cultures or explore social issues. Sessions will end with a community art project celebrating diversity. This program is for grades 2-6 with an adult caregiver.
