The Findlay-Hancock County Public Library will be hosting a Summer Reading Camp, which is a reading tutoring program for students from kindergarten through 2nd grade. Tutoring will be available from June 19 - August 5 at the library.
Students will meet for 2 one-hour tutoring sessions each week for 7 weeks. This is a free program for students made possible by a Libraries Accelerate Learning Grant from the Ohio Department of Education. Children in Hancock County in grades K-2 during the 2022-2023 school year may sign up HERE for the program.
The library is currently seeking volunteer tutors for the Summer Reading Camp. If you are age 16 or over, and you'd like to volunteer to be a tutor, please print the application HERE, fill it out and return it to the Children's Department at the library.
