A potato basket was traditionally made to be used in harvesting potatoes from the fields. This basket is a round ribbed basket woven by using round reed for the spokes and narrow flat reed for the body of the basket. The basket features a semi-God's eye which becomes the structure binding the rim of the basket to the body of the basket. In the present day this basket is often used to hold produce or products on a counter or in a pantry. Teresa Margraf will be teaching the class. Material cost is $15.00. Register at the reference desk and pay the material fee.
