Are you looking for something to do this summer? Need a way to get some volunteer hours? Enjoy helping people and hanging out in the library? Check out our Volunteen program! Volunteens help out weekly with our SummerREAD program. To learn more about becoming a Volunteen, stop by the Main Library at the Childrens desk, our Arlington branch, or the Bookmobile to pick up an application! Application are accepted April 1st-30th. Volunteens is open to students age 10-18.

Do you like using your creativity and imagination? Do you appreciate language and poetry? Pick up one of our Teen Take & Make: Paint Chip Poetry kits and celebrate National Poetry Month! Kits include instructions and paint chip card samples for you to create your own poetry. You will just need something to write with. Kits will be available to pick up at the Main Library in the Teen Department, as well as the Arlington Branch and Bookmobile starting Monday, April 3rd. While supplies last.

Want to learn how to fold origami? Come join along with other teens at the library to learn how to fold origami with Japanese students from the University of Findlay. All skill levels are invited to attend. This program is for teens in grades 6-12. Registration is required.

Come to the library to decorate a canvas pouch to store your art supplies, makeup supplies, snacks, or more! Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to come draw their creations with fabric markers on a 9.25 x 6.89 zippered canvas pouch! Supplies are limited and registration is required. Register below or call the Youth Services desk at 419-434-1077 to reserve your spot.
