Do you love to draw? Want to learn to draw some animals? Join us for animal drawing tutorials and hang out with other young artists. Space is limited and registration is required. Children will be seated at separate tables but siblings or same-household pairs can register together to be seated at the same table. Just enter both first names on one registration. Ages 8 and up.

Learn what geodes are, how they form and lots more from Chris Allen of the Hancock Parks District. Participants will also be able to view a wide variety of geodes. This program will be hosted at the Oakwoods Nature Preserve at 1400 Oakwoods Lane, Findlay, Ohio at the Richard S. "Doc" Phillips Discovery Centers. Grades 2-6. Registration is required. Show and tell all about your animals with other families on Zoom. Children may wish to share a family pet, a favorite stuffed animal, a beloved animal book or another animal-themed treasure. Please register each child that would like to share. Staff will send you a link to join us on Zoom!

Enjoy an afternoon at Oakwoods Nature Preserve (1400 Oakwoods Lane Findlay) while completing an outdoor scavenger hunt with your family! Families will receive a scavenger hunt list at the Richard S. "Doc" Phillips Discovery Center and can return their completed list there for a small prize. This program is presented with the Hancock Parks District.

Do you love solving puzzles and cracking secret codes? Our at-home escape room kit contains puzzles and props to create a fun family escape room in your own home. Kits can be picked up starting July 17 and are available for free in the Children's Department at the Main Library, at the Arlington Branch, and in the Bookmobile until July 31st.
