Do you love comics, manga, and graphic novels? Want to hang out with other kids who love them too? Join our Comics Club to explore great books and learn about how theyre made.
Before each session, participants are asked to read a themed book and bring it with them to the meeting.
June 8: Reread a favorite comic, manga, or graphic novel.

Need help building reading confidence? Or do you love reading as much as you love dogs? Beginning readers and students in kindergarten through twelfth grade are invited to drop in for reading practice with Gibbs, a licensed therapy dog, at the library each week. Participants will receive one-on-one time with Gibbs and his trainer as a way to work on reading strength and confidence while enjoying the company of a furry friend.

Play Bingo and win book Prizes! Books for PreK through grade 8 are available. Register here for bingo on Zoom. There is also a Family Book Bingo in person listed on the calendar. No registration required for in-person bingo.
After you've registered, a staff member will send you an email that includes a link to join the Zoom meeting, the link to a digital bingo card, and the list of prize books. Prizes can be picked up at the library or through curbside starting Sunday, June 5.

Do you love to draw? Join us for monthly drawing activities, and hang out with other young artists. This month, we will be learning to draw ocean animals, playing drawing games, and trying a new technique to make our drawings more colorful. Grades 2 and up. Children will be seated together by household, and you only need to register once per household.

Ever wondered what makes fireflies shine? Curious about why so many sea creatures glow? When living things produce their own light, its called bioluminescence. Join us to learn more about what creatures have this amazing ability then explore how and why they glow.

This program will be hosted at the Oakwoods Nature Preserve at 1400 Oakwoods Lane, Findlay, Ohio at the Richard S. "Doc" Phillips Discovery Center.

Grades 2-6 with an Adult Caregiver. Please register ALL children and adults separately.
